1. High heat transfer efficiency, good cooling effect, small heat transfer area required, compact structure.
Because the heat transfer outside the tube of evaporative air cooling is completed by the forced convection heat transfer between the tube wall and the water film
and the direct contact evaporation mass transfer heat transfer between the water film and the air, and the water has a high latent heat of vaporization,
which greatly strengthens the heat transfer intensity on the outer surface of the tube, and its heat transfer intensity is far greater than the convective heat transfer
between the tube wall and the air. The overall heat transfer efficiency of evaporative air cooling is much greater than that of dry and wet air cooling, the required
heat transfer area is small and the structure is compact, and the evaporative air cooling can directly cool the hot fluid in the tube to a lower temperature, and no longer
need the post-water cooler. Under reasonable design, the outlet temperature of the hot fluid in the pipe can be cooled to close to the ambient wet bulb temperature,
and the cooling effect is good. At the same time, the problem that the dry air cooling must be equipped with a rear water cooler in order to obtain a lower cooling and
condensation temperature is solved.
2. Low energy and water consumption, and low operating costs.
Because the air carries heat in evaporative air cooling mainly by increasing the moisture carrying capacity to take away the evaporation latent heat of water, rather than
by the air temperature rise sensible heat, so the required air volume is far less than dry air cooling and wet air cooling; Moreover, due to the use of plain tube bundle,
the pressure drop of air passing through the tube bundle is small, which further reduces the energy consumption of the fan. At the same time, the film forming property
of water on the outer surface of the light tube is good, the latent heat of water vaporization is high, and the evaporation cooling effect can be high and the water
consumption is low under reasonable design. Compared with dry air cooling and post-water cooling, it eliminates the post-water cooler, and its operation cost is very low.
3. Low cost, small footprint.
From the structural point of view, the biggest feature of evaporative air cooling is that the air cooler, cooling tower, and tubular water cooler are integrated into one, thus
eliminating a separate circulating water cooling system, so that one-time investment is greatly reduced; And reduce the area of the equipment, and because the main heat
transfer tube of evaporative air cooling is the optical tube, the cost of the equipment is further reduced.
4. Operation flexibility, and good operability.
Because evaporative air cooling mainly relies on the evaporation of the water film outside the pipe rather than the air temperature rise to take away most of the heat in the pipe,
evaporative air cooling is not sensitive to the air inlet temperature. The hot fluid in the pipe transfers its heat to the water film through the pipe wall, which increases the temperature
of the water film. At the same time, the induced air fan forms negative pressure in the tube bundle, thus increasing the evaporation efficiency of the water film outside the pipe.
Therefore, the ambient temperature in summer has little effect on the cooling effect of evaporative air cooling, and the operation flexibility of solid evaporative air cooling is large,
the application area is wide, and the operability is good.
